I’m Aisha…
…and I cook for my family. And myself! But mostly my family, if I’m honest.
You see, I love to eat delicious food, but I also like to eat healthy-ish. Sometimes, it’s not so easy to find great recipes that do both and work for everyone.
So, I experiment, take pictures of those experiments, and share them.
As for the family, they are part of the problem when it comes to my “let’s eat healthy and delicious” and “vegetables are not the enemy” plan.
I have a husband who is obsessed with chicken, a daughter who refuses 99% of foods and a son who is an extremely hungry guy (but is kinda my dream foodie.)
So, it’s going well…
And then there is me, who is trying to take care of my health, be full so I don’t lose my mind while parenting “Tweedle Dee” and “Tweedle Dodo,” and have glowing skin (coz girl can aim).
Here is where I chronicle my kitchen, parenting, and caffeine-fueled adventures as I try to feed everyone and remember mums have human-rights, too.
